...it's been a while.
I've got to say that even though the urge is there I just can't bring myself to make anything these days. I'm getting through that funk slowly but wheesht… don't go to art college, kids!

Yup. It's been a while.
I have uploaded a couple of things from the college sketchbook today but, as detailed in my previous journal entry (DOWNLOAD FAVOURITES NOW.), I am in the middle of thinking about starting to maybe consider the possibility of reorganising my devaintART portfolio but hey: I'll keep you posted.

Facio Ergo Sum?
It can be very enriching logging in to deviantART.
Everything a person ever does is creative. Every single thing. Simply for the reason that, even if they are copying someone or have been forced to do something, they are still doing it: any expression by a person is an expression of their creativity. In my opinion, of course.
People can be afraid to accept the power of themselves, their creativity, their personality. When surrounded by thousands of images of personal expression, thousands of statements of love for personal relevance and power, thousands of shouts of "here I am"... well, it's moving.

Surfing Trunks
An few ideas popped into my head the other day and I dug out my sketchbook and set to work. It's nice to be drawing again. I'm currently studying for a Master of Arts degree in English Language Teaching and my brain has turned to thinking of visuals rather than verbs, ink rather than indicative, graphite rather than grammar... Perhaps an artistic reaction to the academic world. Reminds me of school.
